Homemade Grenadine Syrup.

Grenadine Syrup

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tsp. orange blossom water
  • 1 tbsp. vodka (optional)

Combine juice, sugar and pomegranate molasses in a small saucepan. Stir and simmer on low heat until mixture is smooth and blended. Remove from heat; add orange blossom water and vodka to preserve longer. Refrigerate and use within two months.

Cocktail Recipe 

  • 2 tsp.grenadine
  • 2 oz. gin
  • 2 oz. brandy
  • 2 oz. triple sec
  • 8 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer
  • Ice and Seltzer

Combine first (5) ingredients in a jar; pour into glasses. Top with ginger beer, seltzer and ice. Makes two generous cocktails.
